We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of service
TranscriptAny is an AI-powered video transcription tool that allows users to:
- Generate transcripts from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X/Twitter videos
- Upload and transcribe video and audio files (MP4, MP3, WAV, MOV, and others)
- Receive AI-generated summaries and key takeaways
- Export transcripts in .txt and .srt formats
The Service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or availability.
3. Free and paid plans
TranscriptAny offers the following plans:
- Free: 3 transcripts per day, no sign-up required
- Pro ($9/month): Unlimited transcripts, AI summaries, file uploads, and exports
- Teams ($29/month): Everything in Pro plus 5 seats, API access, and priority support
Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use TranscriptAny only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Transcribe content you do not have the right to access or reproduce
- Use the Service to infringe on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's API
- Use the Service to generate or distribute harmful, illegal, or misleading content
- Circumvent usage limits through automated means or multiple accounts
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission
5. Intellectual property
TranscriptAny and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
Transcripts generated from third-party videos remain subject to the original content owner's copyright. We do not claim ownership over transcripts generated through the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of any generated transcript complies with applicable copyright laws and the terms of the platform from which the video originated.
6. Third-party services
TranscriptAny uses third-party APIs and services to operate, including YouTube, Supadata, Groq, and Anthropic. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party providers.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services. Access to certain platforms may be restricted based on the policies of those platforms.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Transcripts will be 100% accurate — accuracy depends on audio quality and caption availability
- The Service will be available for any specific video or platform at any time
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TranscriptAny shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have a paid plan, you may cancel through your account settings.
10. Governing law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings.
